What We Do
- Serve as a bridge between health education institutions and programs, health providers and communities in our region
- Assist communities in assessing their health needs and in developing solutions
- Support and assist in the recruitment and retention of healthcare professionals in rural and under-served areas
- Sponsor continuing education programs for healthcare professionals
- Work with communities and schools to develop health promotion and health career programs
- Provide access to information resources and communication technology for health professionals and students
- Assist in bringing clinical education experiences for their students into rural community practices
